How to Make Planet in Infinite Craft — 2-Step Recipe
Planet is one of the fastest discoveries in Infinite Craft, but most players miss it because the recipe does not match what logic suggests. You do not combine Earth with Fire or Water. You combine Dust and Earth. Two steps, one obvious ingredient, one that takes a moment to find. This guide covers the base recipe, the full Solar System chain, and the combinations most people never try.
Short answer: Combine Wind + Earth = Dust, then Dust + Earth = Planet. Two steps from the four starting elements. This is the gateway to the entire space branch of Infinite Craft.

Both are starting elements. No unlock required. This is usually the first combination any player tries.
Dust is not Sand. They are different elements, and only Dust combines with Earth here.

How do you make the Solar System? Start with the two-step recipe above and build outward. Everything below is grouped by distance from the starting point, so you always know what to build next.
❓ Quick answers before you start
⚠️ Two things that trip people up
- Earth + Fire gives Lava, not the celestial body. Fire is a common first guess, but it does not work here.
- Sand is not Dust. Sand = Wind + Stone. Dust = Wind + Earth. Only Dust combines with Earth.
- Dust + Wind gives Sandstorm. The second ingredient must be Earth, not Wind.
- Do not delete it. Every other body in Infinite Craft needs it as an ingredient. You will reuse it a dozen times.
