Infinite Craft Life Recipes — Every Element Made From Life & How to Use It
Life is the single most important element in Infinite Craft. Everything before it — Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, the whole element pyramid — exists to build toward Life. Everything after it — Human, Animal, Character, mythology — exists because Life made it possible. If you ever wonder why the game has so many dead ends in the early minutes, it is because you have not built Life yet.
This page covers the Life trunk — the element itself, and every combination that produces a meaningful new branch. If you are still trying to make Life in Infinite Craft from scratch, that guide walks through the seven-step chain. This page assumes Life is already in your library.
Life as a multiplier — one input, twelve outcomes
Life is unusual among Infinite Craft elements because it acts like a multiplier. Almost every other element in the game is a leaf — you build it and it does not lead anywhere new. Life is a hub: you drag it onto twelve different ingredients and get twelve different branches. The table below is the entire Life matrix. Nothing on this page is missing from it.
| Input | Result | Category | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Life + Dust | Human | Humanoid | Man, Woman, every named character |
| Life + Fog | Ghost | Humanoid | Soul, Haunted House, Halloween |
| Life + Robot | Cyborg | Humanoid | Dragon Ball Z, Robocop |
| Life + Zoo | Animal | Creature | Fish, Bird, Dog, every animal |
| Life + Mars | Alien | Creature | UFO, Invasion, First Contact |
| Life + Lightning | Frankenstein | Creature | Monster, Novel, Horror |
| Life + Love | Heart | Abstract | Valentine, Heartbreak, Love Song |
| Life + Truth | Reality | Abstract | Illusion, Memory, Matrix |
| Life + System | Ecosystem | Abstract | Biosphere, Rainforest, Biodiversity |
| Life + Ban | Banana | Meme | Banana Bread, Banana Split, Monkey |
| Life + Moon | Werewolf | Meme | Transformation, Underworld, Lycanthropy |
| Life + Mummy | Zombie | Meme | Monster, Zombie Pigman, Apocalypse |
The screenshots below are from two save files at different stages of Life progression — one just after Life was built, one with all four branches partially unlocked.

The four branches. Human, Animal, Alien and Cyborg on the canvas, all connected through the same Life element.
🧑 Humanoid branch — the human-shaped outcomes
These are the recipes that produce something human-shaped. Human is the most important — it is the prerequisite for Man, Woman, and every named character in the game. Ghost and Cyborg are secondary — they open the mythology and technology branches respectively.
The single most useful result of combining Life. Human opens the entire character and society branches. Full guide on our Human page.
Ghost opens the afterlife branch. Combines with Human to make Soul, with House to make Haunted House, and with Halloween to make Spooky.
Two working routes. Combines with Dragon to make Dragon Ball Z, and with Human to make Robocop. Required for the anime-tech crossover branch.
🐾 Creature branch — new species and bodies
The creature branch produces non-human living things. Animal is the base — it opens Fish, Bird, Dog, and everything in our animal recipes hub. Alien opens the extraterrestrial branch. Frankenstein is the monster-creation bridge.
The base of the entire creature branch. Combines with Water to make Fish, with Sky to make Bird, and with Forest to make Bear.
Opens the entire extraterrestrial branch. Combines with Rocket to make UFO, with Earth to make Invasion, and with Space to make First Contact.
The classic "creating life from electricity" recipe. Combines with Human to make Monster, with Book to make Novel, and with Halloween to make Horror.
💫 Abstract branch — concepts built from Life
This is where the game stops producing physical outcomes and starts producing ideas. Heart leads to the holiday and love branches. Reality leads to philosophy and consciousness. Ecosystem leads to biology and environmental recipes.
Combines with Cupid to make Valentine, with Broken to make Heartbreak, and with Music to make Love Song. Required for the entire holiday-romance branch.
Combines with Dream to make Illusion, with Time to make Memory, and with Simulation to make Matrix. Required for the philosophy branch.
Combines with Planet to make Biosphere, with Forest to make Rainforest, and with Diversity to make Biodiversity. Required for the environmental branch.
🎭 Meme branch — the unexpected Life outcomes
The meme branch is where Infinite Craft stops taking itself seriously. These recipes make no logical sense on paper, but they are some of the most-used combinations in the game — either as shortcuts to other branches or as fan-favourite recipes that players share with friends.
The most famous Life combination. Combines with Monkey to make Monkey, with Bread to make Banana Bread, and with Ice Cream to make Banana Split.
Two working routes. A crossover between Life and mythology. Combines with Full Moon to make Transformation, with Vampire to make Underworld, and with Curse to make Lycanthropy.
Combines with Human to make Frankenstein, and with Obsidian to make Zombie Pigman. Required for the horror-apocalypse branch.
🔗 Chain spotlight — Life to King in five combinations
This is the single most productive Life chain on the site. Every recipe uses a different branch — Humanoid, then Family, then Royalty — and the final result opens the entire political and medieval branch. If you understand this one chain, you understand how Life connects to everything else.
🧭 Where the Life branch takes you next
The Life branch is the trunk that connects to every other category. Once Life is in your library, six other Infinite Craft recipe categories become accessible or easier to reach. These are the most direct paths from Life.
The direct next step from Life. Human opens the entire character and society branch — every named character in the game traces back to it.
See Human guide →Animal (Life + Zoo) is the base of every creature in the game — Dog, Cat, Fish, Bird, Dinosaur, and Dragon.
See animal recipes →Werewolf, Ghost, and Frankenstein all use Life as an input. The mythology branch overlaps directly with Life.
See mythology recipes →Cyborg (Life + Robot) is the bridge between the Life branch and the technology branch. Required for several sci-fi recipes.
See technology recipes →Alien (Life + Mars) opens the entire extraterrestrial branch. The space and Life branches converge at exactly this recipe.

Steam + Venus = Life. The full seven-step chain from the four starting elements is on our how to make Life in Infinite Craft page. It is the single most important recipe for opening the mid-game.
Life combines with twelve different elements to produce twelve different branches — Human, Animal, Ghost, Cyborg, Alien, Frankenstein, Heart, Reality, Ecosystem, Banana, Werewolf, and Zombie. Nothing else in the game has that many direct outcomes.
Build Life as early as possible. It takes seven steps, but every step is reusable, and once Life exists you unlock dozens of new recipes at once. Players who delay Life end up stuck watching other branches close off — Human, Animal, Alien and Cyborg all require it.
The engine sometimes returns a nearby result depending on context. If Steam + Venus gives something unexpected, check that both ingredients are named exactly right — Venus, not Planet. The Life guide walks through the exact chain with screenshots.
