Privacy Policy — Infinite Craft Game Fan Resource

This site is a fan-run resource about the Infinite Craft game — a static collection of recipe guides, walkthroughs, and essays that also loads a playable game frame. There is no login here and no user database. The one thing worth knowing before you scroll: this site itself collects almost nothing, but it does rely on third-party services that handle some data on their own terms.

Short version: we do not have accounts, we do not run analytics, and we do not have any way to know you visited. The two exceptions are the contact form (which sends us an email) and the third-party services embedded on the site — advertising partners and the game frames themselves. Everything else is a static HTML file that could not track you even if it wanted to.

What this site collects directly

Almost nothing. Every page on this site is a static HTML file. There is no database, no login system, and no server-side code that stores information about visitors. The site has no way to know you visited, what pages you read, or what browser you used. That is not a policy decision we had to make — it is simply what a static site is.

  • No user accounts or profiles. There is nothing to sign into and no personal database to breach.
  • No first-party analytics. No visitor counters, heatmaps, or session recording.
  • No data sold or shared by us. We have no visitor data to sell or share in the first place.

The same applies to the Infinite Craft recipes hub, the guides, and every other page on this site.

The one thing we do collect — the contact form

The only piece of the site that accepts input directly is the contact form. If you use it to report a broken recipe or suggest a new guide, the message you type is sent to the maintainer's email inbox. That is the only way any personal information reaches us.

The form asks for three things, and only one is required:

  • Name (optional). Leave it blank if you prefer. It is used only to address the reply.
  • Email address (required). Used only to send you a reply. Not added to any list, not shared, not used for anything else.
  • Message contents. Read by one person, acted on if the report is valid, and never published without asking.

There is no hidden field, no tracking ID, and no background script that sends anything else along with it.

Advertising and third-party cookies

Some pages on this site display advertising served by external advertising networks. Those networks — not this site — decide what cookies to set and what data to process. When a page with ads loads, your browser may receive cookies from the advertising partner, and those cookies can be used to build an advertising profile across many sites you visit.

Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting. On this site, that means the advertising network's domain, not this site's domain. If you open your browser's cookie settings after visiting a page with ads, you can usually see them listed separately from any first-party cookies.

You have control over this. Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies entirely in its privacy settings. Doing so does not break this site. It may make ads less relevant to you, and it may reduce personalised advertising across all sites, not just this one.

Embedded game frames

The home page embeds the Infinite Craft browser version inside an iframe, and the similar games hub embeds other browser games the same way. When a frame loads, your browser makes a request directly to the site hosting that game. Any cookies that game sets, and any storage it uses, are governed by that game — not by this site.

Where the game stores your element library

The Infinite Craft game saves your element library in your browser's local storage. That data lives on your device. It is not sent to us, we cannot see it, and no page on this site can read it. The same applies to save files you export — they are files on your computer, not uploads to a server.

  • Your library stays on your device. This site cannot read it, back it up, or restore it.
  • Clearing browser data wipes progress. Expected behaviour for a static browser game, not a bug here.
  • You can export your library before clearing anything. The save file is yours to keep.

Your choices

You do not have to accept third-party cookies to use this site. Every modern browser gives you direct control over them, and none of those controls break anything here.

  • Block third-party cookies in any browser's privacy settings.
  • Use private or incognito mode. Cookies set during a private session are discarded when you close the window.
  • Use a content blocker. Extensions that block ads generally also prevent advertising partners from setting cookies.

Children

The site is intended for the same audience as the game itself. There is no age gate, no account system, and no way for the site to know how old a visitor is. Because the contact form collects an email address, anyone under the age required in their jurisdiction to submit personal information should not use it. The rest of the site collects nothing directly and can be browsed freely.

Changes to this page

The site is built as a static resource and is not updated on a schedule. If a change is ever made, it will be a factual correction rather than a new set of terms. There is no mailing list and no notification system, so the only way to see updates is to check this page occasionally.

Written by the maintainer, in the same voice as the rest of the site. If something here is unclear, tell us — it will get fixed.
