Infinite Craft Space Recipes — Planet, Star, Galaxy & Every Cosmic Chain
Space is the only branch in Infinite Craft that changes scale. In the first few minutes your world is a single planet — Water, Fire, Earth, Wind. Once you have Dust, Planet, and Star, the game's physics shifts: you can build a solar system, a galaxy, a universe, or a black hole that eats everything.
It is also the branch that feeds everything else. Moon is required for Alien. Planet is required for Computer. Galaxy is required for the entire Norse mythology branch. If you have not built Planet in Infinite Craft yet, start there — nothing on this page works without it.
The cosmic scale ladder
Every element on this page sits somewhere on a ladder of scale. Dust is at the bottom. Multiverse is at the top. You cannot skip a rung — each tier requires the one below it, and every recipe that comes later builds on the rung before. The ladder is the fastest way to see the entire space branch in one view.
The screenshots below are from three save files at different tiers of the ladder. Together they show what the space branch actually looks like as you move up in scale.
Tiers 1-3 in the sidebar. Dust, Planet, Star and Galaxy sitting together in the library. This is the foundation for everything else.

🪐 Celestial bodies — every planet and star
Every celestial body in the game is either Planet + one ingredient, or Star + one ingredient. The list below covers all nine major bodies plus Sun and Moon. If a recipe is not here, it is either a variant or requires a later-branch ingredient.
The single most important element on the page. Every recipe below uses Planet as the base.
Sun combines with Fire to make Solar — the ingredient behind every Computer and Internet chain.
Moon is required for Alien, Werewolf, and Sailor Moon. One of the most branched elements in the game.
Star combines with Star to make Galaxy. Required for the entire deep-space branch above Tier 3.
Mars combines with Life to make Alien, and with Astronaut to make Mars Mission. Required for the extraterrestrial branch.
Venus combines with Venus to make Aphrodite, and with Steam to make Life. Required for both the mythology and biology branches.
Jupiter combines with Planet to make Gas Giant, and with Galilei to make Moons of Jupiter.
Saturn combines with Titan to make Saturn's Moon, and with Rocket to make Saturn V. A required recipe for the outer planets.
Neptune requires Uranus first — Uranus itself comes from Planet + Tobacco. The deepest planet on the ladder.
🚀 Space vehicles — every way to leave the ground
The space vehicle branch is identical to the technology branch up to Tier 3. Rocket is the shared element — it takes two combinations from Engine, and once you have it, every spacecraft in the game is one or two more combinations away. The full step-by-step is also on our technology recipes page.
| Vehicle | Recipe | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Rocket | Engine + Engine | Satellite, Bullet Train, Space |
| Satellite | Rocket + Rocket | Internet, GPS, Google |
| Space | Lake + Rocket | Alien, Spaceship, Black Hole |
| Astronaut | Rocket + Moon | Space Station, Moon Landing |
| Space Station | Space Shuttle + Space | Space Colony, Space Tourism |
| UFO | Alien + Rocket | Conspiracy, Abduction, Invasion |
If you have already built Train + Rocket = Bullet Train, then Bullet Train + Satellite = Internet skips the entire Computer chain. This is the same trick that unlocks Roblox in Infinite Craft.
Do not try Engine + Fire = Rocket. It gives you Steam, not a rocket. The engine refuses to reuse the same element twice unless the recipe explicitly calls for it. Rocket is always Engine + Engine.
👽 Space explorers
Explorer recipes are where the space branch overlaps with characters and Life. Alien is the most important — it combines with over forty elements and unlocks the entire extraterrestrial tree. Astronaut is second — it gates every human space mission.

💥 Deep space — cosmic events
Cosmic events sit at the very top of the ladder. Every one of them requires a Tier 4 element or higher as an input. These are the recipes that make the game feel infinite — a black hole you can hold in your sidebar, a multiverse you can combine with God.
🧭 What space unlocks in other categories
Space is not a standalone branch — it connects to almost every other category on the site. Once the elements on this page are in your library, six other Infinite Craft recipe categories become accessible or easier to reach.
Alien requires Life and Mars. Several animal recipes require Planet and Star as inputs. The space branch feeds into biology.
See animal recipes →Odin and several Norse gods require Galaxy and Star. The space branch is a direct prerequisite for mythology.
See mythology recipes →Rocket is the direct prerequisite for Satellite, which is the base of the entire communications branch.
See technology recipes →Dragon Ball Z requires Galaxy. Several sci-fi characters require Black Hole and Time Travel.
See character recipes →Dust is the base of the entire space branch. The nature branch is a direct prerequisite for cosmology.
See nature recipes →The Life chain runs through Venus, which is built from Planet. The space branch is a prerequisite for Life.

Start with Planet (Dust + Earth). It takes two combinations and unlocks every other recipe on this page. Then build Star (Planet + Planet) and Sun (Planet + Fire). Those three open the entire cosmic branch.
The engine sometimes returns a nearby result depending on context. If Star + Star gives something unexpected, try Universe + Dust instead. Both are accepted by the engine, and one usually works when the other does not. For more combining troubleshooting, see the FAQ page.
The fastest route is to build Planet, Star, and Sun in that order. Then combine Sun + Planet = Solar and Solar + Planet = System. You can read the full breakdown in the Planet guide.
No — the opposite is true. Life in Infinite Craft actually requires Venus, which is built from Planet + Fog. The space branch is a prerequisite for Life, not the other way around.
