Infinite Craft Word Recipes — Letters, Katakana & Every Letter Combination
The word branch is the strangest category in Infinite Craft — and the one where most guides lie to you. There is no fixed recipe book for letters. The engine uses shape recognition: it looks at what two elements look like together and returns the letter that matches. That is why Satellite + Lake = G works — a satellite reflected over a lake forms the shape of the letter G. But it is also why most other letters vary between players.
This page is honest about that. It covers what actually works consistently, and explains the shape logic so you can find letters yourself. If you are chasing a specific name like Gojo in Infinite Craft, this is where those letters come from.
The letter map — what is confirmed
Infinite Craft does not have a fixed recipe for each letter. Only a small set of combinations are verified across every save file — the rest vary depending on what else is on your canvas. The chips below are honest: bright pink means we have a verified recipe for that letter on this page, bright cyan means it is a compound word built from letters, and faded grey means the recipe is unreliable and we do not list one.
⚠️ Why letter recipes vary between players
The engine uses shape recognition, not a fixed recipe book. When you combine two elements, it looks at what they look like together and returns the letter that matches the silhouette. That means the same combination can produce different letters depending on what else is on your canvas and the order you built your library in.
This is why some players report Mountain + Mountain = M while others get a different result. It is why letter hunting in Infinite Craft is more like experimentation than recipe-following. The one exception is a small set of shape-perfect pairs — like Satellite + Lake, which produces the same letter in every save because the shape is unmistakable.
Our approach on this page is simple: we only list recipes we have personally verified as consistent. For everything else, we say so.
The screenshots below show a save file where the letter chain has been built out. Letters sit next to regular elements in the sidebar with no special styling, which is part of why they are easy to miss.
The letter chain in progress. Satellite + Lake = G on the canvas, with the two ingredients still visible.
Compound letters and words. G, GO, and OJ sitting in the sidebar alongside the elements they were built from.
🔤 The letters — what actually works
Only two single-letter recipes are consistent across every save we have tested: G and K. Both come from shape logic that the engine applies identically regardless of what else is in your library. Every other letter falls into the "varies" category, and we do not list a fixed recipe for those because doing so would mislead you.
The most reliable letter recipe in the game. Satellite + Lake = G works in every save we have tested. It is also the entry point to the entire word branch — you cannot build GO, Gmail, or Gojo without it.
Two working routes. K is required for several character names — Kratos, Killua, Kaguya — and for the K-pop and Karate recipes in the Japanese branch. Rarely needed on its own but useful for compound words.
📌 Letters we do not list
You may see other guides list recipes for M, S, X, O, or other letters. We have tested those combinations and they do not hold up — the engine sometimes returns the expected letter, but it also returns unrelated results depending on what else is on the canvas. Rather than give you a recipe that works half the time, we have left them out. If you find a combination that works reliably for you, the shape is almost certainly the reason: circle-shaped pairs tend to produce O, crossed pairs tend to produce X, two-peaked silhouettes tend to produce M.
💬 Compound letters — GO, OJ, and words
Once you have single letters, the engine lets you combine them into compound elements. These are not just two-letter sequences — the game treats them as new words with their own downstream recipes. GO and OJ are the two that matter most, because they combine to make Gojo, one of the longest recipes in Infinite Craft.
The standard recipe. G comes from Satellite + Lake, and Gmail comes from G + Mail. Combining G with Gmail reinforces the letter and returns the compound GO. Reliable in every save we have tested.
The letter-based half of the Gojo chain. OJ comes from Orange Juice combined with Fire, or from Orange + Juice directly. Both routes work in every save. Combining OJ with GO produces Gojo.
The most-searched character recipe in Infinite Craft. Requires the full GO and OJ chains built separately before this final combination. Full step-by-step on the Gojo page.
Requires both the Japan chain and the Computer chain. The combination itself is short but the prerequisites are long — this is why Nintendo sits at the intersection of two major branches.
Both Fortnite and Program are word-compounds themselves. Full chain on the Roblox page — it runs through the entire technology branch.
Two working routes. Google combines with Mail to make Gmail, which is required for the GO recipe itself. This makes Google part of a recursive chain that surprises most players.
🔗 Chain spotlight — the Gojo chain in letters
This is the word branch at its most useful. Every recipe on this chain uses compound letters, and the final result is the most-searched character in Infinite Craft. If you understand this one chain, you understand the entire word branch.
🇯🇵 Katakana and Hiragana — the Japanese alphabet branch
Katakana and Hiragana are two Japanese writing systems that the game treats as separate elements. Each one combines with over forty other elements and unlocks an entire branch of Japanese-themed recipes. Katakana is the more useful of the two — it gates the entire Jujutsu Kaisen branch, including Satoru Gojo and several anime characters.
Katakana combines with Jujutsu to make Kanji, with Sword to make Katana, and with Robot to make Mecha. Required for the entire Japanese character branch.
Hiragana combines with Anime to make Manga, with Book to make Japanese Novel, and with Music to make J-Pop. The gateway to the softer Japanese cultural branch.

🧭 What the word branch unlocks
The word branch is not an endpoint — it is a prerequisite. Six other Infinite Craft recipe categories depend on the letters and compound words on this page. These are the most direct paths from the word branch.
Gojo, Goku, and every character whose name contains a letter. The word branch is a direct prerequisite for most named character recipes.

The engine uses shape recognition, not naming logic. It looks at what the two elements look like together and returns the letter that matches the silhouette. That is why Satellite + Lake = G works in every save — the shape is unmistakable. Other letters depend on what else is on your canvas, which is why they vary between players.
Satellite + Lake = G is the only single-letter recipe we can guarantee across every save file we have tested. It is also the entry point to the entire word branch — you cannot build GO, Gmail, or Gojo without it.
No. The Gojo chain uses GO + OJ, not Katakana. The Katakana branch is a separate path that leads to Jujutsu Kaisen, which unlocks Satoru Gojo through a different (and shorter) route. Both paths end at the same character, but they share no ingredients.
Because the engine treats Gmail as a word starting with G, and combining G with Gmail reinforces the letter. This is the only place in the game where a single letter combines with a word that contains it to produce a compound. You build G first from Satellite + Lake, then use it twice — once to make Gmail, then again to make GO.
